TMR Media's National Day Parade campaign portfolio showcasing social media creative work for NDP 2023 and NDP 2024.

You would think that a social media agency behind two National Day Parade campaign and the creator of a nationally recognised logo would be thriving with endless enquiries and new business opportunities.

The reality? Not quite.

While it was a tremendous honour for TMR Media to contribute to projects of such significance to Singapore, the exposure did not translate into the business growth many people assume it would.

Why People Assumed We Were Expensive

One of the most common responses we receive is: “You must be very expensive.”

Because of our national-level portfolio, many potential clients automatically assume our services are beyond their budget. Ironically, what we charged for NDP was no different from what we charge our regular clients. The difference was simply the scale of the project.

For the NDP, it wasn’t about charging more. It was about mobilising the entire team and bringing everyone together to execute something much bigger than our usual campaigns.

Recognition Doesn’t Automatically Bring Clients

What many people don’t realise is that very few know who is actually behind the work. There wasn’t a flood of publicity pointing back to us. Any visibility we gained had to be built through our own efforts.

That said, we have no regrets.

What We Gained Instead

Working on the NDP social media campaigns challenged us in ways no other project could. It pushed our team, strengthened our capabilities, and taught us how to manage high-pressure situations at a national scale.

Would we do it again? Probably not.

But are we grateful for the opportunity? Absolutely.

National-scale campaigns aren’t just about creating viral content—they require planning, execution, and the ability to deliver under pressure. If you’re looking for a digital marketing agency in Singapore that focuses on strategy as much as creativity, explore our portfolio or contact TMR Media to discuss your next campaign.
